BISIGNANO PASTE. An Italian family heirloom. Average fruit weight: 160 g. Ripening time: mid-season. This tomato variety is a true pride of Italian agricultural tradition. An old family heirloom valued for its exceptional fleshiness, stable yield, and versatile use.
The fruits are large and dense, yet not tough, with a smooth, rich red skin. The flesh is pink, juicy, and has a distinct sweet-tomato flavor — a well-deserved 5 out of 5 for taste. The fruit shape is classic “plum”: elongated, smooth, about 5 cm long.
TOMATO CHARACTERISTICS:
Thanks to their firm texture, these tomatoes are ideal for canning, sauces, and salads, and they also look great on the market shelf — excellent visual appeal. Their versatility makes them especially attractive to small farmers and home gardeners.
The plant boasts a high yield (also 5 points), resistant to cracking even with slight delays in harvesting. The fruits store well after picking, maintaining both taste and shape. Recommended for open ground and greenhouses. A must-grow for real tomato lovers!
