BRANDYWINE RED LANDIS VALLEY STRAIN. A family heirloom from Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA, known since 1885. A mid-season (ripens in about 2.5 months), indeterminate (tall-growing), very productive tomato variety.
Suitable for both home gardens and commercial farming. The fruits are large (on average 200-350 g), round, deep red in color, with smooth, crack-resistant skin. They are not prone to spotting or deformities and transport well.
WHAT MAKES THIS TOMATO UNIQUE
The flesh is meaty and juicy, with a rich, bold, and complex flavor. It has a well-balanced combination of sweetness and slight acidity, making it especially valued by gourmet growers and true tomato flavor lovers. This variety consistently scores high in taste tests — 5 out of 5.
Its origin also adds to its uniqueness: the seeds were brought to the U.S. from France, where the tomato had a long-standing tradition of cultivation. Ideal for fresh use, juicing, sauces, and canning. The variety is resistant to cracking and has a long fruiting period.

- Redfield Beauty. A rare heirloom from Iowa, known since the early 1900s. Fruits are large, dark pink with a raspberry hue, round, and up to 350 g in weight. Sweet flavor with a strong tomato aroma.
