PINK CLIMBER. Rozella Richardson variety. A mid-season, tall, exceptionally productive tomato variety, notable for its sturdy plants and consistent yields. The plants develop strong, dense bushes with large potato-type leaves that provide excellent protection for the fruit from intense sunlight. In open ground, plants reach up to 1.8 meters in height. The fruits hold firmly on the trusses, do not drop when ripe, and can be conveniently harvested in whole clusters. The shape is round, slightly flattened, with a smooth and even surface. The color is rich dark pink, without spots or cracking. Fruit weight ranges from 80 to 200 grams, with trusses usually bearing fruits of uniform size.
The flesh is dense, meaty, with little juice and few seeds, making this variety especially valuable for slicing, sandwiches, and fresh salads. The flavor is harmonious and rich, with an ideal balance of sweetness and acidity — neither too sweet nor too tangy, but “just right.” Excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making thick sauces and paste. The variety is highly resistant to fruit cracking and has good on-vine keeping quality. Even under fluctuations in temperature and humidity, the fruits retain their marketable appearance and flavor.
