DIE KLEINE MOHREN (LITTLE MOORS). A proven and reliable German tomato variety. Early, indeterminate, and high-yielding cocktail-type variety. Noted for its very early and uniform ripening, allowing for harvest early in the season. In open ground, the plant reaches a height of about 1.5 meters, develops a strong stem and well-leafed canopy, and requires staking and pruning.
The fruits are pear-shaped, very neat and uniform, fairly firm, and resistant to cracking even with changes in humidity. They grow in compact clusters of 7-8 fruits. Each fruit weighs between 25 and 35 grams. The berries are bright red with a glossy skin and have excellent transportability. The flesh is aromatic and juicy, with a distinct fruity flavor, pleasant sweetness, and a lingering aftertaste.
Ideal for fresh consumption, salad decoration, and whole-fruit canning thanks to their size and firm texture. The variety is resistant to common tomato diseases, well adapted to various climate conditions, and produces stable yields even in unfavorable years. Recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses.
