DWARF MERLIN RED. Plant height in open ground ranges from 0.5 to 0.9 meters. A mid-season variety from the Dwarf series. The fruits are red with golden stripes, weighing between 40 and 100 grams, and have an excellent taste. This is a versatile variety. The bush, with curly foliage, is fully covered with tomatoes. The fruits are firm, bright red with golden streaks. The fruits store well if harvested slightly underripe.
The flavor is classic, without exotic notes — pleasant and juicy, with dense flesh and thin skin. Overall, the taste is well balanced. Without pruning (removing suckers), fruit weight reaches 100-150 grams; with 2-3 stems trained, fruit weight can reach up to 350 grams. Suitable for salads since the flesh does not turn mushy, and also good for all types of processing.
Yield comes in a single, abundant wave. If the weather is warm and sunny, the plant can continue flowering and fruiting until frost (especially in a greenhouse). Seeds are best sown in late February or early March, no later than the 5th. The plant grows best in limited soil volumes such as pots, containers, or planters of at least 10 liters. Support is mandatory.
