FREEZE ME. A vigorous, spreading variety of sweet pepper with large, uniform fruits and excellent marketability. The name sounds catchy and memorable, but in essence, it is a universal variety suitable for a wide range of processing methods. The plant is strong, well-leafed, 60-70 cm tall. The bush forms a strong framework, withstands the load of large fruits, and does not require complex care. Due to its compactness and vigor, it is suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are conical in shape, slightly ribbed, very large and uniform.
The weight reaches 150-170 g. The walls are thick — about 5-5.5 mm, which ensures density, juiciness, and good transportability. The fruits are firm, resistant to damage, and maintain a fresh appearance for a long time. At technical maturity, the color is light green; at biological maturity, it is deep red. The color transition is uniform, and the fruits look attractive at any stage of ripening. The peppers are excellent for freezing, canning, stuffing, and fresh consumption.
The thick walls and dense texture make them convenient for slicing and culinary processing. It is worth noting that the emphasis on freezing is more of a marketing ploy: practically any high-quality sweet pepper can be frozen. The main thing is to prepare the fruits correctly, and in winter you can enjoy the aroma of fresh pepper regardless of the variety's name. A reliable, large-fruited, and versatile variety, combining a vigorous bush, good marketable qualities, and stable results.
