GREAT WHITE BLUES (GREAT WHITE BLUES+OSU P-20). A unique indeterminate tomato variety developed by Reinhardt Kraft through crossing Great White and OSP P20. Later, Canadian Stefan Meurier took over the further development of the variety, bringing it to the current standard of excellence among white-anthocyanin tomatoes. According to Stefan, Kraft received F1 seeds and began cultivating them.
A tall, mid-season, and high-yielding variety with very sweet fruits. Half of each fruit is ivory-colored, while the other half is a rich blue with violet-brown hues. All plants of this line that have P-20 as one of the parents (for example, P-20 + Beauty King) develop a single central cluster that can hold up to 30 uniform fruits. In some clusters, one fruit can grow very large, weighing up to 800 grams.
This variety is also characterized by having a central cluster. During our description, we counted 15 fruits on the central cluster, but there can be more. The average fruit weight is 250–350 grams, although specimens weighing up to 600 grams have been observed. The fruits store well and can ripen further without losing flavor.
