IBIZA YELENA. An early-season novelty variety bred by Latvian breeder Tatyana Nagle, this tomato offers a successful blend of beauty, flavor, and resilience. It is mid-season, with plants reaching about 1.5 meters in height. The variety was developed through selection work with the Banana Singapore tomato and has already gained recognition for its ornamental appeal and ease of cultivation. The plants are strong, vigorous, and very healthy. The variety is highly resistant to diseases and is capable of fruiting until late autumn.
Even under unfavorable weather conditions, it consistently produces good yields, making it especially valuable for gardeners in regions with a variable climate. Fruits weigh between 100 and 150 grams, are round or slightly oval in shape, and look striking. The skin is a rich raspberry color with a distinct dark blue "cap" and purple stripes, giving the fruit a unique and memorable appearance. Inside, the flesh is bright raspberry-pink, juicy, and fragrant.
The taste is vibrant and expressive, with fruity notes and a well-balanced combination of sweetness and light acidity. This makes the tomatoes perfect for fresh salads, slicing, or simply enjoying straight from the garden. Thanks to its combination of ornamental value, delicious flavor, and low maintenance, Ibiza Yelena is a true gem for collectors and tomato enthusiasts alike.
