KARMA APRICOT. A tall indeterminate variety reaching about 1.5 m in height. It's a mid-season variety with potatoes-like leaves, typical for some gourmet cultivars. The fruits are exceptionally attractive, bicolored: the base color is yellow, while the sun-exposed side develops a delicate pink blush. The fruits are round and smooth, averaging 50-80 g, with some specimens reaching 150 g. The flesh is sweet, enriched with a complex, multifaceted aroma, making this variety not just tasty but a true gastronomic discovery.
The tomatoes have perfect marketable appearance with firm skin, good shelf life and transportability while maintaining their flavor. This variety is one of the newest results of the "True North Tomato" breeding project, specifically from the KARMA line. It was obtained by crossing "Ambrosia Gold Cherry" × "Captain Lucky". The creators are: Karen Oliver – a breeder from Canada; Marcy Eisenberg – an enthusiast and breeder from Florida. They joined forces for this collaborative project.
