LUCINDA. An indeterminate, mid-season tomato variety with a unique appearance and flavor. The period from germination to the beginning of ripening is about 95-105 days. In open ground, plants reach a height of 1.5-1.6 meters and develop a strong, vigorous bush that requires staking and pruning. Fruits weigh between 100 and 180 grams, are round and slightly flattened in shape. The base color is light green with striking dark green stripes. The flesh is dense and juicy, with a pronounced sweet-and-sour flavor, reminiscent of kiwi. The acidity may slightly outweigh the sweetness, but the taste remains very pleasant and refreshing.
Fruit production continues until frost. The variety is exceptionally high-yielding, with fruits growing in clusters and ripening over a long period. A distinctive feature of this variety is its unusual, very thin foliage, resembling carrot tops in shape. This gives the plant a decorative and exotic look, setting it apart from other tomatoes. It also shows excellent resistance to common tomato diseases and tolerates temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions well. Suitable for both open ground and greenhouse cultivation. Perfect for fresh consumption, salads, and unique tomato assortments.
