MAMA IRENE'S. Indeterminate, mid-season, and very productive tomato variety. In open ground, plants reach a height of about 1.5 meters, forming a strong bush with a well-developed root system and potato-type foliage. The variety shows increased resistance to major tomato diseases and adapts well to unfavorable weather conditions, including heat and temporary drought.
The fruits are very large, weighing between 300 and 900 grams, meaty, dense, and pink in color, with a characteristic green spot near the stem and prominent ribbing. The tomatoes have an attractive commercial appearance and transport well due to their firm texture. After a dry period, minor surface cracking was observed, which later disappeared completely.
The flesh is juicy and sugary, with a pronounced tomato aroma and excellent taste — sweet, rich, with a refreshing touch of acidity. The fruits are perfect for both fresh consumption and juice production. The variety has shown excellent performance in open-field cultivation. Thanks to its high yield and superb flavor, it will be a real find for collectors and lovers of large-fruited tomatoes.
