MARMALADE TEMPTATION. A novelty from the beloved breeder Sophia Saakova. The plant is indeterminate, tall, reaching about 1.8 meters, and requires staking and shaping. It is a mid-season variety. The fruits grow in various shapes: from plump "hearts" to elongated ones with an elegant pointed tip or "beak." Weight typically ranges from 200 to 350 grams. The flesh is very meaty, dense, and juicy. Inside, there are practically no seeds—in some fruits, there are very few, while in others, it's just solid, sugary pulp without cavities, making them ideal for fresh eating, salads, or thick sauces.
The main feature of the variety is its rich, bright, and deep flavor, which can be called authentic, a benchmark tomato taste. For this amazing flavor, all its shortcomings are forgiven. And one of the main drawbacks is very poor shelf life and transportability. The fruits do not store at all and spoil quickly, so they must be eaten or processed almost immediately after harvest. This is a gourmet variety for true flavor connoisseurs, not for storage or sale. It requires attention (staking, shaping) and quick processing of the harvest, but generously rewards the effort with its fantastic, concentrated taste.
