PALEOHORI. Mid-season, tall, exceptionally productive tomato variety with a rich history. Produces strong, vigorous plants reaching 1.4-1.7 m in height, with good foliage cover and resistance to unfavorable conditions. Fruits are large, attractive, deep red, heart-shaped, weighing from 200 to 400 g. The flesh is unusually meaty and dense, almost without cavities, making these tomatoes perfect for fresh consumption, slicing, and preparing thick sauces.
The flavor is excellent, harmoniously combining rich sweetness with light fruity notes. This variety has a unique origin: it comes from the small mountain village of Paleohori, located in the picturesque Arcadia region of the Peloponnese (Greece). It has been grown there for many generations, with seeds carefully passed down from hand to hand, and to this day it has no official name. This tomato is a true treasure for lovers of old, authentic varieties with rich flavor and history.
