RED AMARILLO STRIPES. A tall, mid-season tomato variety, reaching up to 1.7 m in height. The plants have regular leaf foliage, strong stems, and well-leaved bushes, providing healthy growth and protection of fruits from sunburn. The fruits are round-flattened, medium to large in size, weighing 120-350 grams. The flesh is marmalade-like, sweet, with a bright fruity aroma — a true delicacy for fresh slicing and salads.
This variety was developed by the late Randy Sine from West Virginia. When we received the seeds, they were at the F7 stage. Today, the variety is grown in the F8 generation, so small variations may occur. This indeterminate variety delivers a stable harvest of medium to large “beefsteak” tomatoes throughout the season, with a sweet, fruity flavor, making it perfect for salads, sandwiches, and fresh snacks. Excellent for slicing due to the dense yet juicy texture of the fruits.
