RED BEAUTY. Designed by Brad Gates, Wild Boar Farm. Tall, productive, delicious, and incredibly beautiful variety. In open ground, plants reach about 1.8 meters in height, forming strong, sturdy bushes with good foliage cover. One of the main features of this tomato is its unique and dynamic fruit coloration. During ripening, it goes through several bright stages: in just a few days, the green-purple skin gradually turns into a multi-colored mottled pattern, and then into a deep purple-red.
Fruits grown in shaded conditions have less purple and appear predominantly red-mottled, while still retaining their decorative appeal. Medium to large in size, weighing from 150 to 400 grams, they are juicy and meaty, with tender, melting flesh of a red-pink shade. The flavor is rich and well-balanced: sweetness is finely offset by a pleasant acidity, making the variety versatile in use. These tomatoes are delicious fresh, as well as in pickling, where they retain their bright taste and beautiful color.
The variety is excellent for salads, especially combined with onions, and for making thick, rich juices. It shows good disease resistance, the fruits are not prone to cracking, and have excellent keeping quality, maintaining their marketable appearance and flavor for a long time. Recommended for cultivation in various climate zones in open ground.
