SIERRA LEONE. A super exotic tomato variety from West Africa that immediately stands out for its uniqueness and ornamental appeal. The plant is medium-sized, mid-season, highly productive, and forms a strong bush up to 1.5 meters tall in open ground. Requires staking and pruning, as it sets a large number of fruits. The fruits are a true wonder of nature. Bright red, flat-round, with beautiful pronounced ribbing and a slightly irregular yet very attractive shape. Inside, the tomatoes have semi-hollow chambers, which makes them perfect for stuffing.
Average fruit weight ranges from 120 to 300 g, though larger specimens are also common. The flavor is delicate and well-balanced, with a pleasant slight acidity. Juicy and refreshing, these tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, salads, baking, as well as culinary experiments and elegant dish decoration. The main advantage of this variety is its very high yield, which significantly surpasses many well-known varieties.
