STORMIN NORMAN. Developed by Dean Slater from Michigan, USA. It is a member of the “Case” family and named after the famous General Norman Schwarzkopf Jr., nicknamed the “Desert Storm.” This variety is one of the most productive cherry tomatoes. The plants are tall, reaching up to 1.5 meters in open ground. They are multi-floral, with simple, neat leaves and large clusters bearing dozens of fruits. The pear-shaped tomatoes have an attractive brown color and small weight—15 to 20 grams each. The fruits have a rich, slightly sweet and spicy flavor, well-balanced and harmonious.
The flesh is dense, crisp, and firm, providing resistance to damage during harvest and transport. The variety is highly productive and bears fruit almost throughout the season until the first frosts. Thanks to excellent post-harvest shelf life, these tomatoes are perfect for fresh consumption, canning, or market sale. They are an excellent choice for gardeners who value a combination of decorative appearance, flavor quality, and consistent productivity. Recommended for growing in open ground.
