MAGICAL HATS OF AUNT GRETEL (TANTE GRETEL MAGISCHE HUTE). An exceptionally beautiful and rare variety — a true family heirloom from Germany. This tomato attracts attention not only with its unusual name, but also with its truly magical appearance. The variety is mid-season, tall, and elegant in plant structure — mature plants reach about 1.8 m and require staking and regular pruning. It is known for its high productivity and stable fruiting even under variable growing conditions.
The fruits are bicolor hearts weighing 230-250 g, smooth, neat, and highly decorative. Their shape deserves special attention: these are not just heart-shaped tomatoes, but refined “hearts” with thin, slightly raised shoulders at the base and an unusually elongated, pronounced tip, which makes the fruits easily recognizable among other bicolor varieties. The main color is a rich golden-orange shade that glows beautifully in the sunlight.
The fruits have a soft blush on the outside, while inside they reveal a bright, contrasting “tie” — a juicy raspberry-orange patterned heart. The flesh is meaty, sweet, aromatic, with a rich dessert flavor and light fruity notes. Thanks to its dense texture, the variety is ideal both for fresh salads and for beautiful sliced presentations.
