DE BARAO GOLD. A famous variety from the legendary Ukrainian De Barao tomato series, known for its reliability, high yield, and excellent fruit quality. The variety is indeterminate, characterized by vigorous growth and high vitality. The plants are tall, branched, forming sturdy bushes up to 2 meters or more in height. They require staking and shaping, but reward with abundant and prolonged fruiting until late autumn. Excellent for cultivation in greenhouses and in open ground (in southern and temperate regions). The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases.
6-8 clusters form on each branch, with 8-10 neat fruits setting in each cluster. The tomatoes grow and ripen uniformly, forming impressive, large bunches that look very decorative on the bush. The fruits are plum-shaped, uniform, dense, weighing 70-90 g, of a rich golden-yellow color. The skin is firm, the flesh is dense, meaty, with a harmonious sweet-sour taste, without wateriness. Thanks to their structure, the fruits do not crack, store excellently, and tolerate transportation well. The yield is impressive – up to 8 kg of fruit per bush with proper cultivation techniques.
