KITE HUGE RED. An early, heart-shaped, flattened beefsteak variety. We really love these types of tomatoes—despite the large fruit size, they don’t crack. When cut open, you won’t see green shoulders or tough, unripe skin, which is extremely important for us. This variety is exactly that: a perfectly bright, uniform color with no cracks at all. The plant is huge, reaching up to 2 meters, requires a strong support structure
And produces an abundance of heavy fruit clusters that sometimes even bend the branches. The green streaks seen near the stem in photos are just a skin feature—not green shoulders—as you can see from the inside. Each cluster usually contains 4-5 fruits weighing 400-450 g. Firm, resilient, excellent shelf life, and meaty. Amazingly, the flavor is extremely delicate, rich, balanced, and aromatic! Highly recommended!
