FERNANDO. A mid-season, tall, and highly productive tomato variety. The plants are strong, vigorous, and well-leafed, yet not overly dense, allowing for easy care and good air circulation. In open ground, they grow over 1.5 meters tall, and in greenhouses, they can reach up to 1.8 meters. Recommended to be formed into 1-2 stems with tying and pruning. Fruits are large to very large, weighing between 400 and 800 grams, with some specimens exceeding 1 kg under optimal conditions.
The shape is heart-like with a truncated cone — distinctive and easily recognizable. The skin is thin but firm, resistant to cracking.
