AGATHA. An early-maturing, high-yielding tomato variety suitable for growing in home gardens. Approximately 95–100 days pass from emergence to the ripening of the first fruits. The plants are determinate and compact, reaching about 33–45 cm in height, so they do not take up much space in the garden bed. This variety is an excellent choice for gardeners who want an early harvest of tasty tomatoes.
The fruits are flat-round, weighing approximately 70–90 g, with a pleasant flavour and versatile uses. They are suitable for fresh consumption, salads and the preparation of various tomato products. Thanks to the compact bushes and early ripening, the variety is convenient to grow even in small gardens.
Tomatoes are heat-loving and light-loving plants, so a well-lit location should be chosen for successful cultivation. The plants can be grown from seedlings or by sowing seeds directly into the soil when weather conditions are suitable. For seedling production, sow the seeds at a depth of 1–1.5 cm and transplant the seedlings to their permanent location at 50–60 days old.
For good growth and abundant fruiting, the variety requires light, fertile soil. The plants respond well to fertilisation, especially when provided with balanced nutrition throughout the growing season. Regular watering, sufficient sunlight and proper care will help produce a plentiful harvest of quality fruits.
