A Spanish variety with little information available. Originating from the city of Almansa in Albacete province. Uniform fruits weighing 350-600 g, beautiful and blemish-free. The taste ranges from excellent to outstanding, juicy, and low in acidity. The bottom part near the stem has beautiful ribbing. Deep pink color, a charming variety. The plant grows well, producing a prolonged and steady harvest until the end of the season.
A mid-season, unique variety, as almost all giant fruits grow in the shape of huge raspberry-red "slippers" that curl around the stem. This is NOT a fused flower fruit – all fruits on the plant had this same shape. If you have the original variety, the fruits should look exactly like this. Truly huge, with no small ones at all.
A beautiful bush, 1.4 m tall in open ground, wide, strong, with sprawling leaves. High yield. The taste is rich, reminiscent of a childhood homegrown tomato: very flavorful, predominantly sweet with a slight tang. The flesh is breaking, sugary, juicy, with numerous seed chambers. One of the largest giant varieties. Highly recommended!
