ALTAECHKA (ALTAIAN GIRL). An early-maturing, high-yielding variety with excellent resistance to the main tomato diseases. This tomato combines all the qualities of an ideal variety: earliness, consistently high productivity, and outstanding flavor of large, juicy fruits. The plant is compact and determinate, about 50-60 cm tall, making it perfect for open ground as well as small greenhouses or film tunnels. It requires neither pruning nor pinching, which greatly simplifies care. The neat bushes have sturdy stems and moderately dark-green foliage, and they tolerate temperature fluctuations and short periods of drought well.
Fruits are rich red, meaty, with dense yet tender flesh and a pronounced sweet-tart taste. Tomatoes ripen evenly, have a smooth round-flattened shape, an attractive marketable appearance, and keep their freshness for a long time after harvest. Average fruit weight is 100-150 g, but with good cultivation some can reach up to 170 g. The variety is ideal for fresh consumption, salads, juices, sauces, and home canning. It reliably produces stable harvests even in regions with less favorable tomato-growing conditions, making it a dependable choice for both home gardeners and small-scale farmers.
