AQUARELLE. Bred by Siberian breeders, Aquarelle is perfectly adapted to cool climates. Suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation, it delivers a stable harvest even in short, chilly summers. This compact, early-maturing, semi-determinate tomato is exceptionally productive and valued for its reliability and ease of care. The neat, bushy plants with semi–potato-leaf foliage reach about 40 cm (16 in) in height when grown outdoors.
No pruning or staking is required, making maintenance simple and time-saving. The plants show strong resistance to common tomato diseases, allowing gardeners to obtain high-quality fruit with minimal chemical treatment. The bushes are literally covered with fruit that ripens almost simultaneously. The tomatoes are elongated, glossy plum types weighing 60-80 g (2-3 oz), dense yet tender, with juicy, meaty flesh.
Fruits after picking continue to ripen well and keep their marketable appearance for a long time. Ideal for all types of processing-whole-fruit canning, sauces, pastes, and juices. The variety is prized for its rich, sweet flavor with a delicate aroma, a rare trait among compact early tomatoes. A great choice for gardeners seeking a hardy, easy-to-grow, and deliciously productive variety.
