AURIA. Also known as "Zabava", "Adam", "Lady's Whim". A high-yielding, mid-season indeterminate variety with unusual, easily recognizable cigar-shaped fruits. The plant is vine-like, vigorous, growing up to 1.8 m in open ground and over 2 m in a greenhouse. The bush requires mandatory staking and regular side-shooting (suckering), as the heavy clusters can overload the stems. Formation into 1-2 stems is recommended. The fruits are cylindrical, 15-20 cm long, with a characteristic forked tip.
The color is bright red, weight 150-200 g. The tomatoes grow in clusters of 6-9 pieces, looking very impressive and unusual. The flesh is dense, meaty, with a small amount of juice. The taste is mild, sweetish, with a moderately pronounced tomato note. The variety is valued primarily for its processing qualities. Thanks to their dense structure and shape, the fruits are ideal for whole-fruit canning, drying, making sauces, stuffing, and salads. They look especially beautiful and neat in jars.
