AYRAT. An early Turkish variety and a true gift for gardeners who value compactness, reliability, and beauty in the bed. The plants form neat, semi-standard bushes about 50 cm tall that keep their shape well and require no complicated care or staking. A small elegant “nipple” gives the tomatoes a special charm and makes them easy to recognize. The flesh is dense, juicy, and aromatic, with a pleasant, balanced flavor where sweetness harmoniously blends with a light acidity.
Average fruit weight is 50-80 g, making them versatile—ideal for fresh salads, canning, pickling, and drying. Even in open ground the bushes look decorative and tidy, resembling small “tomato trees” that invariably draw the attention of visitors and neighbors, turning the garden bed into a real gem. This variety is notable for its high and consistent yield: each plant produces an abundant harvest of uniform, glossy fruits of deep bright-red color without a single blemish.
A key feature of the variety is its excellent keeping quality. The fruits retain their shape and flavor both on the vine and after harvest, maintaining firmness and marketable appearance for a long time. Even in hot weather or during temperature fluctuations they resist cracking. This early Turkish variety quickly won our hearts and trust: it is unpretentious, disease-resistant, yields generously, and delights the eye with its ornamental look.
