BARIN. An early-ripening, high-yielding sweet pepper variety: from germination to technical ripeness 100-120 days, to biological ripeness 127-130 days. The plant is semi-determinate, medium-sized (80-110 cm), with a sparse canopy and good fruit load. It is characterized by a long fruiting period and the ability to regrow shoots. Resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and blossom end rot. The fruits are large, prismatic, slightly ribbed, weighing 170-200 g, about 7-9 cm in size, dense and heavy.
At the stage of technical ripeness, the color is green; when fully ripe, it becomes a rich red, sometimes with a slight purple tint at the tip. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, with a wall thickness of 8-10 mm, the fruits are 2-3-locular, and they tolerate transportation and storage well. The taste is sweet, rich, with a pleasant aroma. The variety is universal — suitable for fresh consumption, salads, stuffing, and processing.
