BEAR CLAW Quisenberry Strain. Mid-season, tall, highly productive variety. A new acquisition we purchased in Poland; the variety itself came from the USA. The Ukrainian "Bear Claw" has a completely different origin, as has been mentioned multiple times. The variety impresses from the very first glance at the harvest. Very strong stems, high-yielding bushes, reaching up to 2.0 meters in open ground.
At the first tasting, it revealed a rich flavor — sweet with a slight tang. In August, when summer returned, the fruits became sweeter and less acidic. The meaty pink fruits with outstanding sweetness can reach up to 700 g. For us, this variety received 5 stars in all categories. It is also highly praised in the West for its yield and taste.
An early pink beefsteak; almost all fruits have folds and ribs at the base, heavy, with tender skin. Strong bushes, high yield. Each cluster has 3–4 fruits weighing 350–400 g. The taste is very tender, soft, and enveloping, almost entirely meaty inside. Medium density, delicate skin, meaty and flavorful. Perfect for salads, sauces, and juices.
