BEAUTY LOTTRINGA. A mid-season, medium-sized and highly ornamental variety, which according to some sources may have origins linked to the United Kingdom. The fruits are true art pieces: flattened-round, strongly pleated, with pronounced ribbing forming striking segmented shapes. The colour is deep red or pink-red, often with fine orange streaks visible through the skin. The average fruit weight ranges from 200 to 700 g, although individual fruits may easily reach 1 kg. The fruits grow in clusters of 4-5, giving the plant exceptional decorative value during ripening.
A deep peduncle depression is a characteristic feature of the variety. The flesh is dense and meaty, with semi-hollow cavities, making it ideal for stuffing, baking and preparing impressive dishes and salads. The flavour is rich, slightly sweet, with a classic tomato aroma. The plant forms a compact determinate bush, yet it is highly productive. Despite its modest size, it provides large and stable yields throughout the season.
