BELMONTE RED (BELMONTE CUORE), Italy. A family heirloom from Italy. Tall-growing, high-yielding, mid-season, and an excellent variety. The leaves are thin, and the fruits are red, heart-shaped, weighing up to 600 g. Fleshy, low in seeds, and very tasty. This variety scores a solid 5+ in all categories: beauty, yield, and flavor. A mid-early, large-fruited variety suitable for salads and processing. According to growers, this variety performs well in greenhouses.

The plant reaches 1.5 m in open ground, strong and productive, with heavy clusters — 4–5 fruits per cluster, setting consistently without gaps. All fruits are large — 500 gram and more. Bright red color, slightly flattened beefsteak shape, sometimes with plump ribs near the stem. Inside — red, fragrant flesh with a rich, classic tomato flavor and a bit of acidity.
