BERKELEY TIE DYE PINK, USA. A variety by Brad Gates, a pink-colored version of the famous "Berkeley Tie Dye". A mid-season, bright and very beautiful bicolor. The fruit shape is more flattened than that of the standard Berkeley Tie Dye. A variation of the Berkeley Tie Dye variety. Indeterminate, mid-season, moderately productive to productive. Fruits are large, weighing up to 500 g, flat-round, slightly ribbed, pink with green stripes, very beautiful.
The flesh is tricolored – red-pink-green, sweet, with a rich, balanced flavor and a good, strong aroma. According to Jeffrey Casey, this variety is in his personal “TOP-30” by taste.
