BERKSHIRE POLISH BEEFSTEAK. A rare collector's variety of tall tomatoes of mid-season ripening, valued for its large fruit size, stable yield, and classic, rich taste of true beefsteak tomatoes. The plants are powerful, well-developed, about 1.5 m tall, with a strong stem and excellent ability to hold large fruits. The variety is distinguished by high yield and stable fruiting throughout the season, performing equally well both in open ground and in greenhouses. The fruits are large, flat-round in shape, uniform, meaty, weighing 250-500 g.
The color is deep red or dark pink, depending on growing conditions. The tomatoes have dense but not tough skin and an attractive marketable appearance. The flesh is dense, very meaty, and simultaneously juicy, with a small number of seed chambers. The taste is rich and harmonious — pronounced sweetness combined with a light refreshing acidity, bright tomato aroma. Ideally suited for fresh consumption, salads, slicing, sandwiches, and gastronomic dishes. Certainly, an excellent choice for collectors, lovers of classic large tomatoes, and those who value taste, size, and yield without compromises.
