BETTER BOY. A stabilized variety (F6), obtained by dehybridization of the famous hybrid Better Boy F1. After several generations of selection, the variety has become stable and retains its characteristics when propagated by seeds. The plant is tall, indeterminate, reaching about 1.7 m in height. The mid-early ripening period is combined with long and extended fruiting. The bushes are vigorous, well-leafed, producing an abundant harvest throughout the season. The fruits are round, uniform, smooth, bright red in color, weighing about 150 g. They are distinguished by an attractive marketable appearance and uniformity.
The flesh is dense, meaty, juicy, with a rich tomato aroma. Due to their structure, they are ideal for slicing, sandwiches, and fresh salads. The taste is harmonious, classic, richly tomatoey, with a good balance of sweetness and light acidity. In terms of taste, the variety is considered one of the best among red-fruited tomatoes.
