BING CHERRY. A tall indeterminate variety up to 2.0 m high. The plant is vigorous, requiring staking and training, and is characterized by good yield in greenhouses and open ground. It should not be confused with the variety of the same name without the blue coloration of the fruit. The fruits are cherry type, weighing 30-80 g, round. At the beginning of ripening, they have violet-blue "shoulders" and marbling, then the main color becomes bright red.
A modern selection by the famous breeder Tom Wagner. As they fully ripen, the red color darkens, acquiring a deep, almost black hue with dark blue dusting on the upper part. The skin is glossy, the fruits appear almost translucent. The flesh is juicy, the taste is mild, sweet, with a moderate aroma. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, salads, and decorative presentation.
