BLACK APPLE. A variety of Russian breeding. The variety received its name due to the characteristic shape of the fruits, reminiscent of a classic apple. The plant is medium-sized, indeterminate, with good growth vigor and stable yield. Suitable for growing both in greenhouses and in open ground. It is especially well adapted to cool climates and regions with short summers, where it shows resilience and reliability in fruiting. The fruits are round-flattened, weighing 120-200 g, externally resembling a neat apple.
The color is rich, dark red with a deep brown-burgundy hue, almost black at full ripeness. The surface is matte, the skin is dense and strong, providing resistance to cracking. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with a rich, deep flavor characteristic of "black" tomatoes, with light smoky notes. The aroma is rich, expressive. The variety is considered one of the best among black-fruited varieties due to its harmony of taste, beautiful matte color, and stable yield. An excellent choice for connoisseurs of rich, complex tomato shades.
