BLAZING COAL (ZHAR UGLEY). A mid-early variety (110-115 days) with anthocyanin-colored fruits. It is distinguished not only by its original appearance but also by its sweet, well-balanced taste. The plant is unpretentious, resistant to weather fluctuations and a range of diseases, and sets fruit consistently even in cool and rainy summers. Fruiting is long — until frost. The bushes produce quality red fruits with an anthocyanin tint, suitable both for fresh consumption and for whole-fruit canning.
The tomatoes are dense, have good keeping quality, and retain their marketable qualities well. The variety combines ornamentality and practicality, creating a "greenhouse" effect in the garden due to the contrasting color of the fruit. The exact origin of the variety is unknown. It is presumably of Siberian breeding, with seeds distributed by the company "Siberian Garden". It is also found under the name "Zhar-Ugli" (Ember Coals).
