BLUE DUTCHMAN. A tall mid-season variety with a long fruiting period, attracting attention with its striking coloration and stable yield. The plants are indeterminate, up to 1.5 m tall, strong, with moderate foliage, forming clusters of 5-6 fruits. They require staking and training for maximum results. The fruits are round-flattened, with pronounced ribbing, dense and uniform, of ideal marketable appearance. The main color is bright red with rich anthocyanin shoulders, complemented by light speckling and streaks.
The weight is 150-200 g. The skin is glossy, shiny, which gives the fruits a particularly attractive appearance already at the stage of biological ripeness. The flesh is juicy, meaty, of pleasant density. The taste is harmonious, well-balanced between sweetness and light acidity, with a bright tomato character. According to tasting evaluation — a solid 5 points. The variety is intended for salads, excellent for fresh consumption and serving in slices.
