The fruits are flattened, weighing between 150 and 250 grams, with a striking, vivid coloration: yellow-orange-pink at the top and anthocyanin at the bottom. The flavor is very well balanced, bright, and sweet, with tropical notes. When cut, the flesh is beautifully bicolored. This is a new variety and may still show some variation. I ended up with a striped version — ochre with brown and anthocyanin tones.

I grew Lucid Gem from your seeds and really liked it. But Blue Jolies turned out to be even tastier - the flavor was incredibly well-balanced and vibrant. I gave away some of the Lucid Gem fruits to others, but Blue Jolies... I ate them all myself. That’s how much I loved it! Both varieties were grown under the same conditions.

I tried this variety. What can I say… it’s not a tomato, it’s a fruit with a tomato flavor. Extremely sweet, with no acidity at all in my case. I’m still not sure whether I like it or not, I’m more of a classic tomato flavor fan. What bothers me is the anthocyanin aftertaste, which I really notice in this tomato and don’t like. Interestingly, I don’t get that same aftertaste in Sergeant Pepper, even though it also has anthocyanin. I’ll keep testing it further.

I didn’t get any of the pink marbling, and the antho shoulders were more brown than purple. But everything else matched. The plant was strong and vigorous, quite productive considering how difficult this season was. I had all kinds of problems with tomatoes this year, but this one kept setting fruit from bottom to top, even under the roof. I trained it in 3 stems, with fruit weights ranging from 100 to 200 grams. I’m planning to grow it again next year, but in 2 stems instead. Overall, my impression of this variety is very positive. Here’s what I wrote in my gardening journal:

This is the most beautiful tomato I’ve ever grown. Or even seen. It has this unbelievable glowing orange color — as if there’s a tiny light bulb burning inside the fruit. The antho shoulders weren’t black or purple, more like rich brown. Gorgeous brushstroke-like markings, like a painter’s touch.

The tomato is meaty but juicy — and it’s not really juice, more like a thick gel. Dense, syrupy, like honey. And it even has that honey-like color. The aroma is incredible, and the flavor is deeply tomato-y yet very sweet. And again — it is stunningly beautiful! The kind of beauty only nature can create. It’s flawless.

I know not everyone will share my enthusiasm — some may prefer pink hearts, red globes, or black icicles. But for me, this tomato is absolutely breathtaking. Flavor-wise, there are others that can compete. But in terms of appearance… this one is unmatched.

I’ve grown many anthocyanin varieties, but this is the only one where I noticed such a strong aftertaste 👎. I didn’t like it at all either. That said, it’s a very beautiful tomato.
