I liked this variety. It was quite productive, with fruits weighing up to 70-80 grams. There was even one large fruit around 200 grams. It was grown outdoors, and the plant reached a height of 1.2-1.4 meters. The flavor was good.

I noticed one peculiarity - as the fruits ripened (when the bottom started turning red), they began to lose their shape. Possibly, true ripeness occurs a bit earlier, before full coloring. I think this variety is perfect for drying and canning — the fruits are fairly firm.

I really liked this one 👍 Super productive, beautiful, tasty, and healthy 👍 The plant grew to about 1.7 meters, and it was fairly early. I removed it last of all from the greenhouse in early October, still loaded with unripe fruits - which ripened perfectly afterward.

This variety became my favorite for its beauty, flavor, and productivity. I have one plant growing in the greenhouse. It’s an indeterminate, tall variety with sparse foliage. I’m training it with four stems. The fruits weigh between 40 and 150 grams, they’re juicy and sweet. The yield is excellent, it sets fruit even in the heat.

The yield of this variety is outstanding! I planted three bushes, each growing in different spots across two greenhouses. They’re huge - about 2.5 meters tall. I’m training them with 3-4 stems. There are loads of fruits on each plant.

I hadn’t planned to grow this delicious variety this year - there just wasn’t enough space. But I needed to test seed quality, so I sowed on April 21. The seeds turned out fine. My beauty grew and even managed to ripen a little on the vine.

I remove all tomatoes from the greenhouse by September 1 and plant cover crops. It was a pity to pull out such a healthy plant loaded with green fruits. But I learned something useful — Blue Pear ripens well off the vine. It stays tasty, and with a bit of salt - it’s incredibly sweet! I still have plenty of large fruits, and the shape remains pear-like, not round. I like it a lot!

At first, I wasn’t impressed. It was a modest little plant, ended up growing as a single stem for some reason. It was in a grow bag in full sun. Small clusters with about 6-7 fruits each, weighing over 100 grams. I didn’t really pay much attention to it. But when it ripened... it turned out to have the best flavor of all the blue varieties I grew! A solid 5+++!

An incredibly productive variety, especially in the second, hotter year. I really liked it! It kept producing right up until the first frosts. I’ve realized that anthocyanin-containing varieties shouldn’t be planted in the shade - their yield drops noticeably. They need full sun to thrive.

I really liked this variety! It’s indeterminate and was grown in a greenhouse with three stems. Very high-yielding and sets fruit well. The fruits range from 50 to 200 grams and are very flavorful - when fully ripe, they have a sweet, jelly-like flesh. I also noticed that as they ripen, the fruits change from pear-shaped to more round.

I grew this variety for the first time and was surprised by how productive it was. It really was a wall of fruit: beautiful and tasty. But now I compare the flavor of all blue tomatoes to Lucid Gem, and Blue Pear was just a bit less flavorful.

Also, out of all my blue varieties, this one had the poorest shelf life. After just three weeks, half the fruits had to be thrown out. They tend to rot starting from the stem or from any spot where they were touching another tomato. So, I won’t be growing it again.

This variety is very interesting trouble-free, productive, and tasty. I grew two plants this year, both trained into two stems. One grew in the shade, the other in full sun. The shaded plant produced noticeably fewer fruits, but it had the largest one 470 g. The shaded fruits only had a hint of anthocyanin, while the sun-exposed ones turned distinctly blue, especially after I trimmed the leaves and the fruits were fully exposed.

I even took a group photo comparing fruits from the sunny and shaded plants — the difference is obvious. In terms of taste, this was one of the best varieties of the year. For me, the flavor was similar to Sto Pudov by Aelita. The texture was very nice — firm and pleasant. The flavor improved as the season went on. Let’s see what happens in 2025!
