BLUE SUEDE SHOES. An excellent novelty showing anthocyanin expression on the shoulders. Mid-early variety. The plant grows to 1.3 m. In open ground, it is strong, with an average cluster of 6–8 fruits weighing 40–60 g. Shape is round. The fruits are of an unusual bright pink color with inky shoulders, very beautiful and glossy. The flesh is pink with two seed chambers, juicy, aromatic, and very tasty.
Tall-growing, in the usual generalized form, with potato-type leaves. The fruits are pink-red with a purple tint. Both ripe and unripe fruits are very good. Excellent taste, pleasant for true connoisseurs. The variety originated from a spontaneous cross between "OSU P20" and "Brandywine Sudduth Strain" in 2011. Seeds of this variety were ordered by us from France. Five stars for beauty!
PINK-BLUE VARIETIES:
Pink-blue tomatoes are rare and unusual varieties featuring interesting visual and taste characteristics. Key properties of these tomatoes:
-
Color: Their distinctive feature is the combination of pink and blue shades on the fruit skin. The blue color appears thanks to the presence of anthocyanins — antioxidants also found in blueberries and other dark berries.
-
Anthocyanins: The blue hue gives the tomatoes beneficial properties, as anthocyanins help fight inflammation, protect cells from free radicals, and strengthen the immune system.
-
Taste: Pink-blue tomatoes may have a sweet, rich flavor with a slight acidity typical for many pink varieties.
-
Texture: Generally dense, with juicy flesh, making them perfect for fresh salads.
-
Health benefits: In addition to antioxidant properties, these tomatoes are rich in vitamins C and A, supporting healthy skin, eyes, and immune function.
