BOBBIE. A family heirloom. This variety was widely grown in the West since the 1990s. It is a productive variety. The fruits are beautifully shaped hearts with an extremely dense, meaty texture and very few seeds. The flesh is low in juice, and the tomato has a pleasant fruity aroma. The fruits show no spots near the stem, do not rot, leak, or crack, and have a rich, beautiful color and shape.

This is a mid-season variety shaped like a refined raspberry heart. The plant reaches 1.2 meters in open ground, not very strong, with sturdy stems. Each cluster holds 3-4 fruits weighing 150-250 g. Yields are moderate. When cut, the flesh is uniform and dense, with small seed chambers – mostly pure meat. The fruits have a rich yet delicate tomato flavor and are aromatic. Excellent taste with a very well-balanced sweetness and acidity.
