BRANDYWINE OTV, USA. The “OTV” tomato is one of the best Brandywine lines, originating from open pollination of Yellow Brandywine and an unknown red beefsteak. “OTV” stands for “Of the Vine”. Indeterminate, reaching 180–200 cm tall (in open ground with good care), mid-season (85 days). Potato leaf foliage, and the yield is often higher than that of regular-leaf Brandywine.
A real gem for any tomato lover. Large fruits weighing from 300 grams. Tomatoes are red with orange shoulders, round and slightly flattened, with light ribbing at the top. Dense, juicy, meaty flesh with excellent mild flavor. Brandywine OTV sets fruit well in heat and has a long fruiting period.
Fruits can reach up to 400 grams, red, glossy, very meaty, multi-chambered, juicy, and incredibly flavorful, with a delightful aroma! Delicate, creamy-textured flesh, perfect sugar-to-acid balance, and a harmonious sweet fragrance. Produces a high percentage of marketable, defect-free fruits.
