BROWN FLESH JUMBO, Canada. A mid-season, indeterminate (tall) tomato variety with original and striking fruits. Plant height in open ground reaches up to 1.5 meters. Fruits are large, weighing between 200 and 400 grams, with a flattened round shape. The skin is brown with pronounced dark green stripes, giving the tomatoes a decorative, exotic appearance.
The flesh is pink-burgundy, medium-dense, juicy, and rich in flavor — perfect for fresh consumption as well as for salads and sauces. This variety comes from the collection of Canadian breeder Dan McMurray, who selected it from seedlings of the original Brown Flesh variety (which bore much smaller fruits — 60-90 g).
Through selective breeding, a significantly larger and tastier version was obtained. It features stable yields, attractive fruit appearance, and excellent flavor. Suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground (with proper staking and pruning).
