BUNDABERG RUMBALL DWARF. An early-mid season, compact, and highly productive variety. The plants are vigorous, tree-like in growth habit, neat in appearance, with regular leaf foliage. Fruits are small, firm, with thick skin, round-shaped, and a rich chocolate color. The flesh is juicy and meaty, with a rich, sweet, and well-balanced flavor. The plant is heavily loaded with fruits weighing between 70 to 120 g.
Not all varieties from the Dwarf Tomato Project are known for high yields, but this one is a standout: its productivity is impressive. Matures about 60 days after transplanting. First introduced to the public in 2015. This is a dwarf variety with regular leaves, producing medium-sized fruits in a brick-red to chocolate tone. The plant height is typical for dwarf tomatoes — around 80 cm.
The flavor is smooth, sweet, and very pleasant. This variety originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Budai Torpe and Black from Tula, and was initially called Grumpy. It was selected by Richard Allen and later named by Patrina. Recommended for growing both indoors and in open ground.
