CALIFORNIAN MIRACLE RED. A pepper variety from the USA with a history of more than one hundred years, which still remains one of the most popular among gardeners and farmers. This mid-season sweet pepper begins to bear fruit 120-130 days after germination, producing a uniform and prolonged harvest. The plant is compact and neat, reaching a height of about 40-50 cm, making it convenient for cultivation even in small plots or limited spaces. The fruits are pendant, cuboid in shape, and bright red at full maturity. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with a pronounced sweetness and a rich spicy aroma.
The wall thickness averages around 5 mm, but under favorable conditions can reach up to 8.3 mm. The average fruit weight ranges from 80 to 130 g. The variety is valued for its harmonious combination of taste, aroma, and fleshiness. The fruits are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for culinary use — roasting, stuffing, canning, and freezing. It is distinguished by stable yields and excellent adaptability to different growing conditions. Successfully cultivated both in open ground and in film greenhouses, it shows high resistance and reliability even under unfavorable weather conditions.
