CAMONE. A tall variety with unique fruits — the result of Swiss breeding! This tomato variety was developed by Swiss agronomists in the late 1970s with the goal of creating a tall plant resistant to pests. The bushes grow up to 1.8 meters tall and thrive in open ground. The fruits weigh 80-100 grams and have an exceptional density — their texture is reminiscent of raw potatoes, which is extremely rare among dark, nearly black varieties.
The fruit color is a rich reddish-brown — very attractive and elegant. But the most remarkable feature is the taste. This variety is impressively sweet! We confidently give it a solid 5-plus rating. Perfect for both fresh consumption and preserving — a true table and canning delicacy.
