CANDY SWEET ICICLE, USA. A mid-early cherry tomato variety with striking looks and excellent flavor that fully lives up to its name! The plant is moderately tall, reaching up to 1.3 meters in open ground. Inflorescences are compound, carrying 20 to 35 fruits, each weighing 40-45 g. Fruits are elegant, elongated, with a pointed tip. The main color is deep red, adorned with golden streaks and stripes across the skin — a true gem in the garden! Loved it a lot.
This is a compact, mid-early, and exceptionally productive variety bred by Brad Gates. We gave this tomato the highest mark for its outstanding taste! The fruits are cocktail-type with golden striping, weighing up to 40 g, elongated with a nose-like tip. They are dense, crack-resistant, stay firmly on the vine, extremely sweet and fragrant — they taste like real candy with a fruity note. A great option for both fresh eating and canning — the size and flavor are just right.
The variety has split into two color types. We offer you the orange-red fruit version. Taste qualities and other parameters are roughly the same. The plant is loaded with fruits, even though it is not very strong. But the main highlight of this variety is its taste!
