CHEF HUBERT. An indeterminate, mid-season, very productive variety that performs equally well in open ground and in a greenhouse. Plant height in the garden usually reaches about 1,3-1,5 meter; the bush is neat and requires staking and shaping. The fruits are medium-sized, weighing from 40 to 110 grams, depending on growing conditions and the load on the plant. They have a round-flat shape.
This variety is especially valued for its unusually beautiful appearance. The fruits have an intense deep blue color with a pronounced anthocyanin bloom that not only decorates the harvest but also gives the fruits extra resistance to sunburn and pests. The skin is very dense and thick, making the fruits well-suited for storage and transportation.
VARIETY FEATURES
An original novelty from Tom Wagner. Small fruits — ranging from deep red to purple, with indigo stripes and dark blue or violet “shoulders.” The flesh is juicy and tasty when fully ripe, but the unique feature of this variety is that if you taste the fruit a day or two earlier, the flavor will be completely different — always a pleasant and unexpected bonus!
The taste is well-balanced — classic tomato with a slight tang and sweetness, with a tasting score of 4.5 points. This variety is valued not only for its appearance and the health benefits of anthocyanins but also for its stable yield. It’s perfect for fresh eating, making salads, and decorating dishes. This striking tomato is a true beauty ideal and always attracts the attention of garden guests.
