CHOCOLATE MARMALADE. A variety bred by the renowned Ukrainian breeder Ruslan Dukhov. Mid-season, low-growing bush reaching about 70 cm in height. Fruits are round, weighing approximately 150 g, of an unusual bluish-blue color with orange spots. The skin is orange-yellow with brown spots and traces of anthocyanin, more noticeable at the top of the fruit. The flesh is juicy, orange-yellow, dense and elastic in texture, resembling marmalade. The flavor is fruity and balanced, combining a slight bitterness with sweetness.
The plant has moderate vigor, regular foliage, and a determinate or semi-determinate growth habit. It produces excellent yields in mid-season. The fruits are known for their good shelf life after harvest. The coloration is unique – ink-black from the stem end, transitioning to orange-honey, golden at the bottom. The flesh is yellow. The taste is excellent, very delicious, very sweet with a hint of acidity that accentuates the sweetness. Dense, juicy, with a light fruity note. We recommend this variety as a wonderful combination of beauty and flavor.
